Wing Chun Drill
A Wing Chun rolling and weaving drill with and without a partner. This is a powerful combination of a sticky hand, ridge hand, low sticky block, and uppercut, vertical punch, horizontal elbow, rear naked choke submission, or several other variations that are not covered in this particular video. We will make more that cover different strikes, but the initial combination block is the same: fast, effective, and fluid.
Keep in mind that this is ONLY a drill. If you only know one drill, you won't be very prepared for a mugging or a street brawl. If you know a thousand drills, you will be very prepared. In demonstrating this drill, I often get questions like, "well, what happens if I do this...or if I do...that?" I usually reply saying that same thing: It's just one of many drills. Drills develop skills. Take it or leave it.
Another thing to remember: our school covers a lot of different martial arts, and we are not claiming to know them all in their entirety. We are a Reality-Based Self Defense school, taking techniques from many different styles and plugging them into the unpredictable arena of street fighting, wherein no rules apply and we assume worst case scenario.
