READ THIS!!!!

After having a few experiences I feel it is important to address a few things.

#1  This website is operated, owned, and maintained by Patrick Asay.  He accepts full responsibility for its content.

#2  We are students of Southard Combat System.  Applied Martial Arts is not a separate entity, it is simply the creation of Patrick Asay, a Black Belt student of Southard Combat System.  We teach and live the teachings of Grand Master Anthony Southard.

#3 We are 100% loyal to Grand Master Anthony Southard.  If you are one of my students, you are a member of the Southard Combat family.  You are very strongly encouraged to sign his guestbook on his website to pay your respects to him.  Without him, I would not be able to teach you nearly as effectively as I would otherwise.  We all are indebted to him and should be grateful we have the best of the best teaching us.  Here is the link to his website's guestbook:  http://pub5.bravenet.com/guestbook/394425855/

#4  There is a HUGE ego problem in the world of martial arts.  It is unavoidable.  However, it can be minimized when the martial artist cares more about lifting up and building up others rather than him/herself.  It's really difficult to do because everyone (except true martial artists IMO) wants to compare martial penis size.  If your intent is to find out how tough your are, you are on the wrong website.  I will not accept any challenges offered by MMA fighters, Traditional Martial Artists, or any whacko who wants to fight me.  Your eagerness to fight me and prove how manly you are only pitifully shows how insecure you are about yourself.  APPLIED MARTIAL ARTS IS ANTI-VIOLENCE.  If you want to make sure I am competent in my skills, that's a very different thing, and all you have to do is come and join in on one of our classes.

#5  We write weekly articles about various topics and send them out in a mailing list.  If you are on the mailing list and find something interesting about one of the articles, feel free to voice your opinion by replying to the email.  If there was something you didn't like, we'd also like to hear about that as well.

#6 This is a free website.  Your contribution to the site by way of comments, reading articles, watching videos, etc. will continue to motivate its ongoing productivity.  We have appreciated all of you who have visited, registered, and/or made comments.  If you are registered, be sure to sign in each time you visit the site.  We encourage you to register so you can take advantage of our member-exclusive learning materials.

#7  If you have any questions, make sure to check out the F.A.Q. first:  http://appliedmartialartstraining.com/content/faq

If that doesn't answer your question, my personal email address is patrickasay@gmail.com

#8  If you are a member of the site and have a question or comment, you may do so below.

THANK YOU!!!!
